The commune is located approximately 410 km south of Paris , 115 km northeast of Bordeaux , 36 km northwest of Perigueux [1] .

In the north of the commune the river flows.

Climate

The climate is temperate oceanic [2] with an average level of precipitation, which falls mainly in winter.
