Biography
He began his stage activity in 1927 at the State Professional Club Workshop in Moscow. In 1932, after graduating from CETETIS, he was invited to the newly organized Ural Theater of the Red Army ( Sverdlovsk ), and was its leader. Director of the Kuibyshev Theater (1935–1943), the Saratov Youth Theater (1943–1948), chief director of the Yaroslavl Theater (1948–1953); since 1953, he worked at the MATS , MDT named after M. N. Ermolova . Since 1958 - the chief director of the MDT named after N. V. Gogol .
Since 1933 he was engaged in teaching.
