Biography

Born December 17, 1970 in the city of Konstantinovka, Donetsk region of the Ukrainian SSR , father - Vladimir Ivanovich Mateychenko [2] (died in 2014 [3] ), mother - Klavdiya Mateichenko Tikhonov [3] .

Education

He graduated from the Tomsk Higher Military Command School of Communications in 1991 with honors, in 2006 he graduated from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine .

Military and political career

From 1991 to 1998 he was in military service, he went from a platoon commander to a deputy commander for logistic support of the military unit A0623 of the Artyomovsk mechanized division. In 1998 he retired with the rank of major .

From 1998 to 2002 he was the head of the private agricultural enterprise “Queen”.

In 2002 he was elected the village head of the village of Pokrovskoye, Artyomovsky District . Since 2002 he has been in the ranks of the Party of Regions , then in the Socialist Party .

From 2011 to 2012, he was Deputy Director of the Radiy farm in the village of Pokrovskoye, where he used to be the village head.

Since 2012, he was a consultant on social and political issues of the public organization "Front of Changes". In the same year, he ran for deputies in the majority district No. 46 of the Batkivschina All-Union Organization , but lost the election to the representative of the Party of Regions, Sergei Klyuev .

On July 7, 2011, a criminal case was initiated against Konstantin Mateichenko on the fact that he had exceeded his official powers when he was the head of the village of Pokrovskoye, when land was set aside for the production of gypsum. On August 5, 2013, the Artyomovsky City Court was convicted under Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced to 3 years in prison [4] . On December 4, 2013, he was released on bail in the amount of 17 thousand hryvnias, when the Appeal Court of the Donetsk Region canceled the sentence, and the case was sent for further investigation, and the preventive measure was also changed [5] .

In June 2014, he was appointed commander of the Artyomovsk battalion , which took part in a number of operations, in particular, in taking control of the Zakotnoye village.

On June 5, 2014, he was appointed Acting Chairman of the Krasnolimanskaya District State Administration, and on July 8 of the same year, he was appointed Head of the Artyomovsk District Administration.

In the fall of 2014, he was elected people's deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the 18th convocation according to the list of the Popular Front party at number 26

December 25, 2018 included in the list of Ukrainian individuals, against which the Russian government imposed sanctions [6] .
