Biography
Born on October 4, 1910 in Wolmar (now Valmiera , Latvia ).
- 1927-1932 - worked at the Mulman paper mill in Riga
- 1928 - 1930 - studied at the art faculty of Riga National University
- 1932 - 1933 - served as a corporal in the Vidzeme artillery regiment
- 1933 - 1935 - worked at the sawmill of the Riga chocolate factory “Kuse” (at the same time he studied at the Riga Theater School with M. A. Chekhov and V. A. Gromov and at the Latvian dramatic courses
- 1935 - 1938 - artist of the Latvian National Ensemble
- 1938 - 1984 - artist of the Riga Art Theater ( GADT of the Latvian SSR named after A. M. Upit )
He died on September 12, 1992 in Riga .
