The 100 meter backstroke competition (women) at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships was held in the swimming pool at the Kazan Arena in Kazan , on August 3 and 4, 2015.

Qualifying heats began on August 3 at 9:30 local time ( UTC + 3 ). Semifinals were held on the same day at 18:24, and the final on August 4 at 17:40.
