Located about 80 km northeast of the center of Tel Aviv and 13 km southeast of the city of Haifa , on the outskirts of the Zebulun Plain (northern part of the coastal plain ), at an altitude of 59 m above sea level. The area of the council is 2,859 km².
Population
According to the Central Bureau of Statistics of Israel , the population at the beginning of 2018 was 11,838 people [1] .
Most of it is ultra-Orthodox Jews ( Haredim ).
