Dalyat el-Carmel [1] ( Heb. דאלית אל-כרמל , Arabic. دالية الكرمل ) is the local council in the Haifa district of Israel . It is the largest and most southern Druze settlement in Israel [2] .

Located about 75 km north-east of the center of Tel Aviv and 13 km south-east of the city of Haifa , on the territory of the Carmel mountain massif, at an altitude of 450 m above sea level. The area of the council is 9.0 km².
In 2003, Daliat el-Carmel was merged with the nearest Druze village Isfia , forming the city of Carmel. In 2009, the new city was divided back into 2 local councils.

According to the Central Statistical Bureau of Israel , the population at the beginning of 2018 was 17,201 people [3] .
