Serebryakov, Vladimir Alekseevich (mathematician)

In 1969 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University , in 1975 - from graduate school of the Computing Center of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR .

Since 1976, he has been working at the Computing Center of the USSR Academy of Sciences (now the VTs FITs IU RAS) as a junior research fellow (1976-1982), a senior fellow (1982-1986), a department head (1986-1992) and a department head (since 1992 )

In 1976 he defended his thesis "Input language and implementation of the metaprocessor of the LORD system" for the title of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences. In 1990 - a doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Automation systems for building translators and their application for the effective implementation of programming languages."

Member of the editorial board of the journal "Programming". Serebryakov V. A. is a member of the academic councils of the Computing Center of RAS and ISP RAS , is a member of the academic council of the faculty of management and applied mathematics of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology ,

In the scientific and programming community, he is known as one of the developers (under the leadership of V. M. Kurochkin ) of the SUPER software system (the Russian analogue of the yacc compiler compiler).

Since the 2000s, the main activity of V. A. Serebryakov and his team was the creation of distributed information systems, in particular digital (electronic) libraries. An integrated system of information resources (ISIR) was created. Based on the ISIR principles, the information portal of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISIR RAS) was implemented (more often referred to as the “Scientific Portal of the RAS” on Wikipedia with links) ^[1] .

Since 1992, he has been teaching the course “Designing Compilers” at the Faculty of the VMK of Moscow State University . Professor, Department of System Programming, Faculty of the VMK Moscow State University (since 1993).

Since 2002, he has been giving lectures on the course "Theory and Implementation of Programming Languages" at FUPM MIPT .

He prepared a number of textbooks for these courses, including those currently used as the main ones in the educational process of the mentioned universities.
