Hapoel (Eilat) ( Hebrew הפועל פתאל אילת ) is an Israeli professional basketball club representing the city of Eilat in the Israeli Super League . Israeli vice champion in 1998 and 2015, finalist of the Israel Cup 2014.

Historical Statistics
Hapoel (Eilat) was one of Israel's leading basketball clubs in the 1990s and then again in the early 2010s. The club first participated in the championship of the top division in the 1991/1992 season under the leadership of and remained in it until 1999. The revival of Eilat basketball was associated with the transfer to the city in 2012 of the Maccabi Habik club by its owner Doron Gertsikovich [1] .
Including the 2014/2015 season , the team spent 11 years in the Israeli Premier League. Twice, following the results of the regular season, she took 3rd place (in 1997/1998 and 2012/2013) [2] . Six times the club played in the playoffs of the top division, in 1997/1998 and 2014/2015, they finished performing in the rank of finalist [2] [3] , and three more times in the semifinals.
In the Israel Cup, the club achieved the highest success in the 2013/2014 season, when under the leadership of Oded Katasha reached the final [4] . In 2014/2015, the team reached the semifinals [2] . Hapoel (Eilat) has experience playing in European club tournaments: in the seasons 1993/1994 and 1994/1995 he played in the Korac Cup , and in 1997/1998 and 1998/1999 in the Saporta Cup [5] , in the first year of participation in this tournament, making his way to Top16, where he lost to Panathinaikos [6] [1] by the sum of two meetings.
