He graduated from high school in Budishina . He received a theological education in Leipzig . He was rector in the settlements of Lucho (in 1640), Minakal (1641–1648) and Bart (1648–1673).
He is known for his work “Rudimenta grammaticae Sorabo-Vandalicae idiomatis Budissinatis delineata” , which is the very first grammar of the Upper Luzhitsky language in history.
He wrote several poems on a Christian theme.
