Miron Bloshchichak (born February 8, 1962) - Honored Artist of Ukraine , laureate of international competitions. In the musical world he is known as an air maestro, folklorist, man-orchestra, virtuoso musician, author and performer of multi-genre music, researcher of ancient Ukrainian wind musical instruments. He owns about 20 traditional instruments. He makes tools for himself.

Biography
Miron Bloshchichak was born on February 8, 1962 in the suburbs of Lviv . He studied at the Lviv College of Music named after S. Lyudkevich and at the Lviv Conservatory . From 1980 to 1985 he played in the ensemble "Periwinkle" under the direction of Ivan Agratina. In 1985-1987 - in the ensemble of folk music "Vargan", Lviv Philharmonic. In 1987-1990 he was a soloist-instrumentalist of the popular Kiev ensemble "Kobza". Since 1990, Miron Bloshchichak has been constantly touring, taking part in folk and jazz festivals in Ukraine and beyond. He spent many expeditions, spent a lot of time with musicians, folk artists, recorded and studied the music of the Carpathians .
He taught at the Lviv Conservatory for five years. In 1993, he taught at the Music and Art Center at the University of Bridgeport USA .
Creative activity
The musician earned popularity among admirers in Ukraine and abroad by his desire to return the almost lost folk art of his ancestors, professional skill and a unique stage image.
It is noteworthy that Bloshchichak perfectly owns about 20 traditional musical instruments. Among them: accordion; classic - clarinet, a game which comprehended in a music school and the Lviv Conservatory, as well as a saxophone; the old ones are tilinka , harp , floyara, Pan’s flute, goat, goat, duodenzivka, wheeled lyre and other instruments little known even to professional musicians, as well as neoclassical ones that Miron himself invented - a windphone, a hosephone, a bottlephone. It can make any household item with a cavity, elongated shape and at least one hole sound.
When on tour in the USA at one of the parties there was no instrument at hand, Miron played the Ukrainian song on a plastic bottle of water. The audience was shocked.
Even professionals are surprised: “How can I perform Rimsky-Korsakov’s “ Bumblebee Flight ”on a bottle of water?” And he surprised the participants of the Brass Quintet from England by taking a pipe from a professor at the London Conservatoire, pulled out a mouthpiece and crown from it, and began playing Hutsul melodies . Can perform solo on two saxophones simultaneously.
Since 1989, Miron Bloshchichak has been touring and participating in international folklore and jazz festivals.
In 1999, recognized as the "Best Musician of the Year" in Lviv.
Creativity of Miron Bloshchichak includes three CDs: “Wind of Love”, “Wind from Ukraine”, “Christmas Dreams” and audio recording of music on glass instruments, which was made for glass by Andrei Bokotey, master of glass.
Founder of the Molfar Charitable Foundation and the Museum of Ancient Musical Instruments.

Most tools are made by myself. He studies and uses Ukrainian, Armenian, Bulgarian, Chinese musical instruments and the like.

Miron Bloshchichak toured the USA five times, dozens of concerts in France , Germany , Italy , Spain , Holland , Canada , Norway , Denmark , Belgium , Czech Republic , Poland and Russia [1] .
Personal life
Married, has three children: sons - Lyubomir and Markiyan, daughter of Ivanna Sophia.
Miron’s grandfather, Ivan Bloshchichak came from Lemkovschina . He played the violin, sang well. Ivanna’s mother is a distant relative of the Ukrainian doctor Oleg Dolnitsky .
Bloshchichak speaks English, French, German and Polish.
