Rostov region of the North Caucasus Railway

The present Rostov region of the North Caucasus Railway previously included the Rostov (NOD-1), Salsk (NOD-8) and Likhov (NOD-9) branches of the road, which in 1997 were combined into one Rostov branch that existed until April 2010 of the year.

In order to improve the management of the North Caucasus Railway and in connection with its transition to an non-segregated structure, the order of Russian Railways dated April 29, 2010 ^[1] eliminated all branches of the road, including Rostov.
