Biography

Vladimir Fursov was born on January 3, 1970 in Lugansk. His father Vladimir , was a football player, played for the Astrakhan Volgar and Voroshilovgrad Zarya ; He died in 1984 at the age of 36, when his son was 14 years old [1] .

He was engaged in the Astrakhan Sports School, the first coach was I. S. Buzychkin [2] . In 1987 he made his debut on a professional level for the Astrakhan Volgar, which played in the Second League of the USSR . “Volgar” was an outsider in its zone, in the 1987 season the team took the last 17th place, and in the next season 14th place out of 20 participating teams. Fursov was the main player of the team for two years, playing 59 matches for the Astrakhan and scoring 9 goals [2] .

In 1989, he played for the amateur club Iskra from Balashikha [3] . The following year he became a player of the Drohobych team. In the 1990 season, he spent 21 games as part of a team from Western Ukraine and scored 6 goals [2] .

In 1991 he moved to the Lugansk "Dawn". Together with the team he won silver medals of the Second League of the USSR, having spent 38 matches this season and scoring 13 goals. Fursov is the author of the last hat-trick “Dawn” in the framework of the championships of the USSR, September 9, 1991 distinguished himself in a match with the Kremenchug “ Flint ” [4] . After independence, Ukraine continued to play for the Lugansk club, which was renamed Zarya-MALS. In 1992 he took part in the drawing of the first championship of Ukraine . In the 1992/93 season , Zarya took the penultimate 15th place. In total, he played 38 games and scored 7 goals for Lugansk residents in the Higher League of Ukraine, 5 matches and 1 goal scored in the Ukrainian Cup [2] .

In 1993 he became a player of the Simferopol Tavria . On October 13, 1993 he made his debut for Crimeans as part of the Ukrainian championship in a match against Kremenchug Flint (3-0). Fursov began the game in the starting lineup and scored the first goal in the match at the 27th minute against Yuri Chumak . [5] . The 1993/94 season was the best for Fursov in Tavria, then he scored 10 goals in the Ukrainian championship , becoming the team’s top scorer with Alexei Antyukhin [6] . In the Cup of Ukraine, Simferopol reached the final , where they lost to the Odessa “ Chernomorets ” in the penalty shoot-out (3: 5). Fursov shot a penalty, but became the only Tavria player who did not score, and as a result ensured a victory for Chernomorets [7] .

In the next season of 1994/95, Fursov lost his place as a player of the starting lineup, having spent 11 matches in the Ukrainian championship and scoring 2 goals. The 1995/96 season became more successful for him, he was a base player and played in 27 games, scoring 5 goals. In the 1996/97 season, he played for the Saka Dynamo in the Second League of Ukraine , and scored 2 goals in 3 matches as a member of the team. In 1997, he ended his career as a football player in the Tavria camp, having played a total of 82 matches for Crimeans and scored 19 goals in the championship, as well as having played 13 matches and scoring 3 goals in the Ukrainian Cup. At the end of his career, he was a coach in the Lugansk "Youth" [2] .

August 2, 2004 as a result of a serious incurable disease, he died in Lugansk at the age of 34 years [8] .
