Alatau-Aira or Alatauayra [1] ( Bashk. Alatauayyry ), was also recorded as Tashbukansky , an abolished settlement on the territory of modern Ishimbay district of Bashkortostan . He was a member of the Kulguninsky village council .

History and Geography
It existed until the 1930s. Located on the Alatauayra River ( Zilim River Basin). It was founded between 1865 and 1896 by residents of the village of Tashbukan (villages of Verkhne-Tashbukanovo and Nizhne-Tashbukanovo ) of the Yurmatinsky volost . In 1896, 72 people lived in 20 yards. In 1906, 25 people. Farmers were engaged in beekeeping, the manufacture of wooden products [2] .
Alatau-Ayra was next to the farmers of the Tashbukans of Kalu-Ayra [3] , Urta-Ayra . The main aimak of the village of Alatau-Air, Shauheyek, part of the same aimak in Tashbukan [3] .
Toponymy
Aira translated from Turk. - spur of the mountain, a fork [4] . Alatau, Ala-Too (translated from Türkic - “piebald mountains” (have “piebald” color). The Bashkir name of the toponym Bashk. Alatauayyry ) is formed by adding up the foundations that are not typical for common names [5] .
