Geography
Novaya village is located on the banks of the small river Kamysh ( Kamyshki ), which to the north almost immediately flows into the Neiva , a right tributary. The coast of the Neiva here is devoid of large vegetation for some extent, and in the free space there are villages - Novaya and, southeast of it, Lugovaya (on the Maslyanka river, at its confluence with the Neiva). The opposite, the left bank of the Neiva is wooded, pine and birch grow.
The nearest settlement in the northwest is the village of Sludka , located upstream of the Neiva, on the left bank, at the bend. South-west of Novaya, behind a forested hill (heights of up to 270 m), where Kamyshka originates - the village of Mokrous , through which the road passes to the center of the territorial administration of the village of Petrokamensky. Further to the south, beyond the fields - the village of Bashkarka [2] [3] .
History
According to some reports, the date of formation of the village of New is considered to be 1850 [4] . Nevertheless, already on Landcard of 1734-36, depicting the territories of the Yekaterinburg Mining Department, Solikamsk Province , Cherdynsky, Kungursky, Verkhotursky, Turin Counties, as well as the possessions of the Barons Stroganov and Akinfiy Demidov , within the boundaries of the lands of the Yekaterinburg Department, on the Neiva River a little higher villages of Lugovoi , there are residential settlements - Chasova and Temna [5] .
On the Special Map of European Russia by I. A. Strelbitsky , drawn up in 1865-1871 (sheet 137, edition of 1873), in the indicated area on the Neiva shore there are villages of Staraya and Novaya Putilova ranging in size from 3-5 to 10 and from 10 to 20 courtyards, respectively [6] . The villages were part of the Verkhotursky district of the Perm province .
On the map of Verkhotursky Uyezd in 1914, 3 neighboring villages are already marked - Novaya (somewhat away from the river), Upper and Lower Putilova (closer to the coast) [7] . The reissue of the map of IA Strelbitsky from 1919 gives the old data on the size of the villages of Staraya and Novaya Putilova - from 3-5 to 10 and from 10 to 20 yards [6] .
Since 1961, the village of Novaya was one of 11 settlements in which the Yuzhakovsky dairy and meat state farm was based [8] .
