Biography

Denis Gagno lived with his parents and sister in Avignon. Since his sister was engaged in dancing, Denis also began to dance in order to make a pleasant mother. At the age of twelve, he was accepted into the ballet school of the Paris Opera , where he studied with Raymond Franchetti . After graduating at the age of sixteen, he was accepted into the corps de ballet of the Paris Opera , but as early as 19 years old, in 1972, he left her to go to the newly created Marseille Ballet - choreographer Roland Petit invited the young dancer to take the position of soloist and soon appointed him (i.e., the prime minister ) of his troupe.

Deni Ganyo fruitfully cooperated with the ballerina Natalia Makarova , was her regular partner. Together with artists such as Karen Kane , , and participated in the “Makarova and Company” enterprise, which toured around the world, as well as performed on Broadway . After completing his collaboration with Roland Petit, he danced with Maurice Bejart for a year in his “ ”. Having completed his dance career, Gagno moved to Rome, where in 1994 he opened his own ballet school “House of Dance” ( Maison de la Danse ).

Family

Denis Gagno is married to prima ballerina . He has three children. Two of them, Marin and (born in 1984) also became ballet dancers and dance in the troupe of the Paris National Opera . Mathio was accepted into the troupe in 2000, on May 20, 2004, after the play “Don Quixote” edited by Rudolf Nureyev, was announced as this.
