Vladimir Anatolievich Semeniikhin (born August 31, 1967 ) is a Russian businessman , gallery owner , collector and philanthropist . President of the Ekaterina Foundation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Stroytex Group of Companies.

Collection
In 2002, Semenikhin founded a foundation for the promotion of art in Russia and through it supported exhibitions in state museums and galleries. The Foundation organized the “Bubnovy Ballet” exhibition about the Russian avant-garde in the Tretyakov Gallery in 2004 and in the Russian Museum St. Petersburg in 2005.
In 2007, Semenikhin opened a private exhibition hall in the center of Moscow. In 2008, there was an exhibition "The Age of Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco" [1] .
Semenikhin owns one of the largest private collections [2] .
Business
In 1995, Semenikhin founded his construction company in Moscow under the name StroyTex [3] .
PhD thesis
In 2004, Vladimir Semenikhin defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences at the dissertation council of the Russian State University for the Humanities on the topic “Development of the management system of industrial enterprises of state and mixed forms of ownership in modern Russia”. The dissertation was written under the direction of Doctor of Economic Sciences Georgy Zubkov , the official opponents of the defense were Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Fedor Sterlikov and Candidate of Economic Sciences Marina Guskova [4] .
According to the Dissernet network community study conducted in 2013, about half of Semenikhin’s dissertation is plagiarism of Dmitry Shevchenko ’s 2003 dissertation “Evolution of concentration processes in the corporate structure of the defense industry of Russia” and Ekaterina Popova and Anna Belova's 2002 article “When the market passes” from a number 42 (348) of the journal Expert [5] .
