When flying in difficult weather conditions (heavy rain) in the highlands, the helicopter at 10:34 local time collided with a mountainside at an altitude of 2460 m [1] . The helicopter crew of four, working under a contract with a UN mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, flew from Shabunda to Bukavu . There were no passengers or cargo on board. The helicopter was found in hard-to-reach areas destroyed and partially burnt. All four crew members [2] aboard the helicopter died. [3]
