General Information
Founded in February 10, 1971 [1], the city’s music school has approximately 2,000 students. The school has 70 teachers and assistant professors.
By organizing various musical projects, all students of the school participate in various musical competitions, both local and federal, where they emerge as winners [2] . Student performance is well known in Mettman District [3] . The school has three orchestras: symphony , wind instruments and folk instruments ( mandolins ) [4] , participating in Christmas concerts in the city concert hall of Hilden [5] .
Since 1978, the school has been partnering with the symphony orchestra of the English city of Warrington ( sister cities ) [6] , and in Germany with the musical chapel of Nördlingen [7] and the ceremonial brass band Bergedorf (Hamburg) [8] .
In 2010 , in connection with the celebration of the year of Wilhelm Fabri, a native of Hilden [9] , Moliere [10] was put up in cooperation with the youth dance forum of the city.
From July 2 to July 7, 2015, the 20th Hilden Jazz Festival entitled “Best of” [11] (German) was held at the music school.
