Biography

  • In 1915-1917 - laboratory assistant at the Department of Organic Chemistry, Moscow Commercial Institute.
  • In 1917-1923 - an employee of the Department for the synthesis of complex organic compounds of the Moscow factory of the partnership "Ferrain".
  • In 1921 - graduated from the Technological Department of the Institute of Commerce in Moscow.
  • He worked at the Moscow Chemical-Pharmaceutical Plant (1923-1932).
  • In 1925-1935, senior chemist of the laboratory, production manager, technical director of the experimental plant of the trust "TEZHE".
  • In 1935-1937 the chief chemist of Giprokhim.
  • In 1923, an assistant to the Moscow Institute of National Economy named after G.V. Plekhanov.
  • In 1930-1933, a teacher at the Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology. M.V. Lomonosov.
  • In 1937-1941, assistant professor, head of the department of organic chemistry and oil chemistry.
  • Since 1943 deputy Director of MNI - MINH and GP them. I.M. Gubkin.
  • In 1973, professor at the Moscow Institute of Economics and Economics named after I.M. Gubkin.

Scientific and Production Achievements

One of the first to apply on a large scale synthesis methods based on alkyl and aryl magnesium halides in the absence of ether. The author of more than 50 inventions; 500 scientific works, monographs, including:

  • "Synthetic fragrances" (1946)
  • "Chemistry of oil" (1963)
  • “Ion-exchange catalysis (catalysis in the presence of ion-exchange resins)” (1975)
