University of Babesh-Boyiai ( room Universitatea Babeș-Bolyai , Hungarian. Babeș-Bolyai Tudományegyetem ) is a state university in the city of Cluj-Napoca , Romania . It bears the name of the Romanian microbiologist Viktor Babes and the Hungarian mathematician Janos Boyiai .
