Emmaus is a rock music festival held since 2004 on the banks of the Volga River , near the village of Emmaus, Tver Region (about 150 kilometers from Moscow , 15 kilometers from the city limits of Tver ).

The festival itself has received the name Emmaus since 2006 , before that it was held under the auspices of Our Radio under the name Invasion , but in 2008 the festival merged with Invasion and will now be held under that name.

Description
The organizers and founders of the Emmaus festival are famous people from the national promotion muses. On December 1, 2005, Leonid Landa, Andrey Matveev, Dmitry Groysman and Alexander Iratov made a joint decision to launch a new project - the Emmaus music festival.
It was this team (together with Mikhail Kozyrev) who created the Maksidrom festival in 1995 and completed work on this project in 2003, organized the first Russian concert on the Invasion outdoor venue in 2000. It was they who created the logo and slogan of this festival that is familiar to today's audience and saved it from oblivion in 2004 (after the actual ban of 2003), finding it a site in the Tver Region.
After successful festivals in 2004 and 2005, the paths of this team with the copyright holder of the brand “Invasion” diverged.
