Biography
A consular colleague of Mark Atilius was the distinguished commander Mark Valery Korv , who was specially chosen to end the war that had begun earlier with the Avzons and Siditsins. The Senate, without a draw, entrusted Valery with command of the siege of the city of Cala; when the city was taken, Atilius received joint command with a colleague in a campaign against the Siditsins. The time of his consulate also included the withdrawal of a Roman colony in Cala [1] .
The son of Mark Atilius was the consul of 294 BC. e. the same name .
