History
It was first mentioned in the scribe book of the Vodskaya Pyatina in 1500, as the village of Putyatino , in the Dmitrievsky Gorodensky graveyard of Novgorod district [2] .
As the village of Putyatin, it is indicated on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [3] .
PUTYATINO - the village belongs to an official of the 8th grade Kuzminsky, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 26 m., 30 w. p. [4] (1838)
As the village of Putyatin, it is marked on the map of Professor S. S. Kutorgi in 1852 [5] .
PUTYATINO - the village of Mr. Kuzminsky, on a country road, the number of yards - 8, the number of souls - 18 m. [6] (1856)
PUTYATINO - the owner's village near Lake Khvoyne, the number of yards - 6, the number of inhabitants: 20 m., 18 w. p. [7] (1862)
In 1862-1863, temporarily liable peasants of the village bought their land allotments from P. P. Timofeev and became land owners [8] .

According to the map from the “Historical Atlas of the St. Petersburg Province” of 1863, the village was called Putyatina [9] .
In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Perechitsky volost of the 1st zemsky section of the 1st camp of the Luga district of St. Petersburg province.
According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the village of Putyatino was a member of the Perechitsa Rural Society [10] .
According to 1933, the village of Putiatino was part of the Kalishensky village council of the Luga region [11] .
According to 1966, the village of Putyatino was also part of the Kalishchensky village council [12] .
According to the data of 1973 and 1990, the village of Putyatino was part of the Kamensky Village Council [13] [14] .
According to 1997 data, 3 people lived in the village of Putyatino, Kamensky volost, in 2002 - 2 people (all Russians) [15] [16] .
In 2007, there was no permanent population in the village of Putyatino, Zaklinsky SP [17] .
Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of the district near the highway 41K-249 ( Zhelytsy - Torkovichi ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 36 km [17] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Oredezh is 14 km [12] .
The village is located on the left bank of the Oredezh River at its lake-shaped expansion - Lake Khvoylovo .
