Zanjan ( Persian زنجان Zanjân ; azerb. Zəncan ) - a remains in the north-west of Iran . The administrative center is the city of Zanjan . The area of Ostan - 21 773 km² [2] . The population is 1 015 734 people [1] [2] ( 2006 ) the majority of Azerbaijanis [3] [4] .

Economics
Ostan Zanjan is famous for its seedless grapes. Due to its geographical and strategic location, the remains is one of the industrial centers of Iran. The ostan is located 330 km northwest of Tehran and is connected by a highway.
