“I Hope You Dance” is a song by American country singer Lee Ann Womek (along with Sons of the Desert ), released in March 2000 from her third studio album, I Hope You Dance (2000). The authors of the song were Tia Sillers and Mark Sanders . The song received many nominations and awards, including a Grammy , CMA Awards and an ACM Awards from the Academy of Country Music in the prestigious Song of the Year category [1] [2] [3] .
