The 18th World Ice Hockey Championship among youth teams was held in the Czech cities of Ostrava and Frydek-Mistek from December 26, 1993 to January 4, 1994 . The title of world champion was played by eight national teams in a circular system. The victory was won by hockey players of the Canadian national team, Sweden took the 2nd place. Bronze medals went to the Russian team .
