Massolyany ( Belorussian. Masalyany ) is a village in the Berestovitsky district of the Grodno region of Belarus , as part of the Olekshitsky Village Council . The population of 570 people (2009) [1] .

Content
Geography
Massolyany are located 5 km northeast of the center of the village council, the agro-town of Olekshitsy and 17 km north of the district center, the village of Bolshaya Berestovitsa . The river Vereteyka ( be: Cancer Veratseyka ), a tributary of the Svisloch , flows through the village. The village is connected by local roads with Olekshitsy and Big Eismont .
History
As a result of the third division of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (1795), the Massolans became part of the Russian Empire in the Grodno district [2] . Around 1796, the Orthodox Church of the Nativity of the Virgin was erected [3] .
In the 19th century, the estate belonged to the Bisping family, which built a manor here in the 1830s ( be: Syadziba Bіspіnga, Masalyany ) [3] .
According to the Riga Peace Treaty (1921), the Massolans became part of the interwar Polish Republic , belonged to the Volkovysk district of the Bialystok Voivodeship [2] .
In 1939, Massolany became part of the BSSR . In Soviet times, the Bisping Manor almost completely lost its historical appearance, the manor house was rebuilt so that only one outbuilding retained its historical appearance [4] .
