The operational command "Vostok" is the operational unification of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the eastern part of Ukraine (Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Luhansk, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv and Kherson regions). Office of command is in the city of Dnepr . The operational command "Vostok" was formed in January 2015 by separating part of the territory from the Operational Command "South" .
