A rich embroidered with pearls and decorated with 51 gold shotguns depicting black mobile cover on the tsarevich’s coffin, made by the denominator Ivan Gomulin [8], has survived. The selection of plots on the cover images is associated with the patron saints of the Tsarevich and his relatives, the dates of his birth and death, and other events. This was the first tombstone made for the Romanovs [9] .
Duty at the grave of the "little princes" Ivan and Vasily Mikhailovich, the first Romanovs in the Archangel Cathedral, was the duty of high court ranks (sometimes two different duty officers were assigned to two tombs), in 1639, Prince Alexei Yuryevich Zvenigorodsky, prince "spent days and nights sleeping" at the tomb Simeon Romanovich Pozharsky, then the stolnik Semyon Stepanovich Khrushchev, in 1643 - the future governor and patriarch stolnik A.S.
