Angry Birds 2 (from English - "Angry Birds 2"), formerly known as Angry Birds Under Pigstruction, is an arcade genre video game of 2015, developed by the Finnish company Rovio Entertainment and the thirteenth game in the Angry Birds series, as well as a direct continuation of the original Angry Birds . In the game, a new bird appears called Serebryanka, spells instead of bonuses or Power-Ups, and the action takes place at multi-stage levels. On March 5, 2015, the game was introduced to a limited circle of people in the Canadian App Store , an app store for iOS , called Angry Birds Under Pigstruction, and on July 30, 2015, the game was released worldwide on iOS and Android systems. Gameplay
The basic principle of the game has not changed. Users are offered to ram the fortifications of pigs made up of various materials, shooting at them with a slingshot with birds-shells. Among the innovations - the ability to choose which birds to shoot (before it was necessary to launch them at enemies in a certain order), as well as special spells - for example, you can fill up pigs with a bunch of gold ducks or wrap all fortifications in ice. From time to time there are battles with bosses. Both birds and spells are now marked on cards. Of the entire deck, three are simultaneously available. Material vulnerable to attacks of the selected bird is highlighted. Successes are expressed in glasses and stars.
A new bird, Serebryanka, while activating its ability, makes a dead loop in the air and rapidly falls down. Red bird Red gained the ability to scatter objects with his cry.
The percentage of destruction is entered into the game, which measures the destruction and, when filled, gives a new card, as a rule, similar to the last used one. In case of failure, you can now restart the level by paying a certain amount of gems received for passing the game or making payment with real money. If there are not enough gems, the player can replay the level, losing one life. The lives are initially given 5 and over time the lost ones resume.
Angry Birds 2 has a system of achievements and competitions with friends. At the end of 25 levels, access to the Arena opens, where you can compete with other players from around the world, passing endless levels with interchangeable sublevels. Like Angry Birds Epic, participants are divided into leagues according to their success. Between levels or for participation in the Arena, the player finds feathers that increase the level of a certain bird. Improved birds bring more points.
The graphics have become more detailed and animated. So before the start of each level, you can see how the fortifications are formed, and after the attack, debris and pigs can "fly out into the screen." Animated inserts are demonstrated before boss fights. At the levels there are auxiliary objects, like flowers, which throw debris that fell on them and pigs in the direction in which the flower is exposed.
Immediately after release, 9 episodes became available: Feathery Hills, New Pork City, Eggchanted Woods, Chirp Valley, Shangham, Greasy Swamp, Greenerville, Steakholm, Misty Mire.

According to the aggregators of reviews, the game received mostly marks slightly above average. The game ratings were: on Metacritic - 65.92% [2] , on GameRankings - 66/100 [3] , on “Criticism” - 57/100 [4] .
Practically all elements of the game were highly appreciated: gameplay, level design, graphics and sound. At the same time, critics called the main drawback of the game the transition to the freemium monetization system, due to the aggressive nature of which the gaming atmosphere suffers [11] , which is particularly pronounced in the process of playing at more difficult levels [12] . According to the publication Kotaku, the game is the “worst kind of free-to-play ”: the player has five lives, which are replenished in a timer. After exhausting lives, the player must wait. Lives are spent when the player runs out of cards with birds until the end of the level. While waiting for replenishment of lives, a player can play in tournament or survival modes with a certain set of cards with birds, but the player can start the game in these modes only once every three hours. If a player does not want to wait, he can buy extra lives for gems, some of which are given to the player for free after downloading the game. After the initial gems are exhausted, the player can either buy gems for real money, or get them for free after watching a promotional video [13] .
