WSDE ( eng.W eb S ervices D ata E xchange ) - data exchange web services . A service providing api for the exchange of data between the manufacturer and the buyer.
Purpose
The exchange of data between the manufacturer and the buyer through the WSDE service is a newer and more convenient technology than the use of price lists. As a rule, with a large assortment of items, the buyer has to use the price lists of suppliers to load into their accounting program, while each supplier presents a price list for this in its own format, in this case, each price list uses its own algorithms for loading, and changing the data format from the manufacturer leads to errors when loading data from the buyer.
The WSDE service solves this problem by providing both parties with specific functions for transmitting and receiving data and a specific standard.
Workflow
Data exchange is mainly carried out between a supplier (dealer) who wants to provide a price list for their customers, the availability of goods in stock, promotions and discounts, and a buyer (wholesale company, online stores) who distributes and sells goods or services.
- The manufacturer uploads to the WSDE web service the nomenclature, properties of the nomenclature, characteristics, prices, availability of goods in stock
- The manufacturer determines the buyers who have access to data or open public access to data
- The buyer downloads the supplier’s nomenclature from the WSDE web service into his program (For example: 1C: Enterprise or other software)
