Content
Park History
The park was founded in 1957 by hydraulic workers on the site of Chem Bor, part of which was preserved after the formation of the Ob reservoir . In 1960, by a decree of the Novosibirsk Regional Council of Deputies, the park was given state status and the name "Soviet Culture and Recreation Park". In 1982, it was renamed the recreation park "By the Sea of Obskoy".
Infrastructure
Initially, the park was located on 6 hectares, later the park area was increased to 132 hectares (now the park's territory is 129 hectares). The park has rides and rental sports equipment. The territory of the park includes a beach located on the shore of the reservoir, an entertainment center "Boomerang" (where there is also a beach of the same name), an art park "Yolki-Palki", an equestrian club "By the Sea of Obskoy", a museum of history and development of the left bank Soviet district, set stage. Cultural events
Various cultural events and all-Russian holidays are celebrated on the park’s territory every year. In 2014, the tenth nomadic festival “Alluring Worlds.
