La Turbie ( French La Turbie ) is a commune in the south-east of France in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region , the Alpes-Maritimes department , Nice district , Beausoleil canton [1] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Villefranche-sur-Mer (Nice district).

Economics
In 2010, out of 2137 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 1552 were economically active , 585 inactive (activity indicator 72.6%, in 1999 - 71.4%). Of the 1,552 active able-bodied residents, 1,448 people worked (795 men and 653 women), 104 were unemployed (50 men and 54 women). Among 585 able-bodied inactive citizens, 204 were pupils or students , 194 were pensioners , and another 187 were inactive for other reasons [8] [9] .
Throughout 2010, there were 1,301 taxable households in the commune , in which 3,139.5 people lived. The median income was 26 thousand 659 euros per taxpayer [10] .
