La Tour ( French La Tour ) - a commune in the south-east of France in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region , the Alpes-Maritimes department , Nice district , the canton of Vence [1] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Villars-sur-Var (Nice district).

Economics
In 2010, out of 294 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 224 were economically active , 70 inactive (activity indicator 76.2%, in 1999 - 64.2%). Of 224 active able-bodied residents, 206 people worked (126 men and 80 women), 18 were unemployed (9 men and 9 women). Among 70 able-bodied inactive citizens, 12 were pupils or students , 30 retired , and another 28 were inactive for other reasons [7] [8] .
