Peganka-raja [3] ( lat. Radjah radjah ) is a species of large waterfowl from the family of ducks , the only one in the genus Radjah [1] .

Description
It differs from other species of the family with a white head and a narrow black band that runs through the entire chest. Other distinguishing features are relatively long legs located closer to the front, a straight walk and a short beak. Paws are pale pink, discolored.
The forage is obtained on water and on land, feed on small coastal animals - crustaceans , snails , etc., as well as the vegetative parts of plants.
Classification
As of January 2019, there are two subspecies that differ, including the range [1] :
- Radjah radjah radjah (Garnot & R. Lesson, 1828) - Moluccas , New Guinea
- Radjah radjah rufitergum (Hartert, 1905) - North and West Australia
