Mondays , also Sidelniki ( Belorussian. Syadzelnіkі ) is a village in the Volkovysk district of the Grodno region of Belarus , part of the Podoros Village Council . The population of 72 people (2009) [1] .

Geography
Mondays are located on the border with the Brest region , 3 km east of the center of the village council of the village of Podorosk and 25 km southeast of the center of Volkovysk . The village is stretched along the Zelvyanka River, in the northern part of the village there is a mini-hydroelectric dam and a dam on the river. A local road connects the village with Podorosk .
History
The place has been known since the middle of the XVI century. In the XVII century - the gentry outskirts (dungeons), in 1796 there lived 35 gentry families [2] .
As a result of the third division of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (1795), Mondays was part of the Russian Empire , in Volkovysk district . In 1836 there were 10 courtyards and 51 inhabitants, in 1914 - 94 inhabitants [2] . In 1872, the Orthodox Church of Paraskeva Fridays was built, which has survived to our time [3] .
According to the Riga Peace Treaty (1921), Mondays were included in the interwar Polish Republic , belonged to the Volkovysk district of the Bialystok Voivodeship [2] .
Since 1939 - as part of the BSSR, in 1947 a collective farm was organized. In the 50s of the XX century. A hydroelectric power station was built on the Zelvyanka River. As of 2004, there were 70 courtyards and 134 residents [2] . In 2009 - 72 residents. From the noble estate to the present day only the outbuildings have survived [3] .
