The XXIIIth dynasty of the pharaohs of ancient Egypt was the regime of the Meshves Berber pharaohs who ruled Ancient Egypt . This dynasty is often regarded as part of the Third Transition .

Rulers
Many disputes surround this dynasty, which could be located in Heracleopolis , Hermopolis , and Thebes . However, the buildings of the era of their rule show that they controlled Upper Egypt in parallel with the XXII dynasty immediately after the death of Osorkon II.
