Lucius Antistius was the first of his kind to receive a master's degree. He was one of the five military tribunes-plebeians in college 379 BC. e., which included eight people. But two of his fellow patricians , who excelled the rest by their nobility and influence, Publius Manliy Kapitolin and Gaius Manlii Wulson , achieved without a draw the most honorable appointment for the war against the Volsk [1] . About the activities of Lucius Antistia it is only known that he, among other plebeian magistrates, ensured "home peace" [2] .
