History

According to 1966, the village of Smychkovo was part of the Rakovensky village council [2] .

According to data from 1973 and 1990, the village at Smychkovo station was part of the Luga Village Council [3] [4] .

In 1997, 8 people lived in the village at the Smychkovo station of the Zaklinsky volost, in 2002 - 5 people (all Russians) [5] [6] .

In 2007, 4 people lived in the village at the Smychkovo station of the Zaklinsky joint venture [7] .

Geography

The station at the station is located in the southeastern part of the region south of the highway 41K-141 ( Veliky Novgorod - Luga ). at the stopping point Smychkovo on the railway line Luga - Batetskaya .

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 12 km [7] .
