Lantosque ( fr. Lantosque ) is a commune in the south-east of France in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region , the Alpes-Maritimes department , Nice district , the canton of Turret-Levans [1] . Until March 2015, the commune was the administrative center of the eponymous abolished canton (Nice district).

Economics
In 2010, out of 773 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 535 were economically active , 238 inactive (activity indicator 69.2%, in 1999 - 64.4%). Out of 535 active able-bodied residents, 481 people worked (274 men and 207 women), 54 were unemployed (23 men and 31 women). Among 238 able-bodied inactive citizens, 45 were pupils or students , 101 were pensioners , and another 92 were inactive for other reasons [7] [8] .
Throughout 2010, there were 471 taxable households in the commune , in which 1,025.5 people lived. The median income was 16 thousand 383 euros per taxpayer [9] .
