The 1994 NBA Draft was held June 29 in Indianapolis ( USA ). Jason Kidd and Grant Hill , selected in the first round, became co-holders of the Rookie of the Year award for the season . Later, they were both repeatedly selected to participate in the All-Star Game , although Hill’s career was marred by serious injuries.

Under the first number, Glenn Robinson was chosen, who signed a 10-year contract for $ 68 million from Milwaukee Bucks , which is the biggest contract for NBA newbies. [1] Next season, the league introduced a fixed salary cap for newcomers. Robinson had a productive career, becoming the NBA champion in the San Antonio Spurs in his last season, and also participated in the All-Star Game twice. [2]
It is noteworthy that this is the last draft for today, the first three numbers of which were selected to participate in the All-Star Game from the teams that drafted them. [3]
