Sports Biography

At the beginning of his sports career, Ceslar performed at the FIS competitions in ski jumping, but then moved to the Nordic combined. Five times Tseslar took part in the junior world championships, but the highest result for the young Pole was the 5th place in team competitions in 2010 and the 7th place won twice in individual races in 2010 and 2012. In 2011, Ceslar made his debut at the adult world championships in Oslo, Norway . In the jumps from the normal springboard and the 10 km race, Adam showed the 42nd result, and in the jumps from the large springboard and the 10 km race, he remained in 46th place. In 2009, Ceslar made his debut in the World Cup, performing on stage in the Norwegian Vikersund . Ceslar is a regular participant in the World Cup stages, and he managed to get into the points zone four times. Ceslar is a four-time champion and silver medalist of the Winter Universiade.

In 2014, Adam Ceslar made his debut at the Winter Olympics in Sochi . In jumping from a normal springboard, the Pole showed the 42nd result. In the ski race, Ceslar managed to straighten his position a little, showing the 35th time following the results of the distance, which allowed him to rise overall in the 39th place. In the jumps from the big springboard and the 10 km race, Adam did not successfully complete the test attempt in jumps, which allowed him to take only a preliminary 32nd place, and after the ski race Ceslar lost several positions, taking the final 37th place.
