Club career
Jefferson began his career in his homeland, where without much success he played for San Caetano , Guaratingeta , Palmeiras and Gremio Barueri . In the summer of 2010, he moved to the Portuguese Estoril Praia . On August 29, in a match against Moreirense , Jefferson made his debut in the Sangrish League. [2] On October 2, in a duel against Penafiel , he scored his first goal for a new team [3] . At the end of the season, Jefferson returned to Brazil , where he accepted a second attempt to gain a foothold, but despite all the efforts neither of Fluminense , nor of Nautico Recife , nor of Santa Cruz Recife , he became the main football player.
In 2012, Jefferson returned to Estoril, where he played the season. In the summer of 2013, he signed a contract with the Lisbon Sporting . On August 18, in a match against Aroka , Jefferson made his debut for the Lions [4] . March 1, 2014 in a duel against “ Braga ” he scored his first goal for “Sporting”, realizing a penalty [5] . In the debut season, Jefferson became the silver medalist of the championship. On November 5, in the Champions League match against the German Schalke 04 , he scored a goal [6] . In 2015, Jefferson won the Portuguese Cup with Sporting.
