John Vasilievich - the son of the Prince of Smolensk , in 1375 went with the Grand Duke Dmitry Donskoy to the Tver Prince Mikhail Alexandrovich , and in 1380 he was in his own regiment of Dmitry Donskoy on Kulikovo field .

He died in 1386 in a battle with the Lithuanians on the Vikhra River , near Mstislavl , to which he went in the armies of his uncle, Prince Smolensk Svyatoslav Ivanovich , "the town of Smolensk was earlier than Mstislavl, but Lithuania was taken away." This prince, like his father, in some pedigrees is called the prince of Selekhovsky, probably - in the main village of his specific possessions [1] . Gorsky A.A. called the Prince of Vyazemsky. [2]
