Luciano Emmer ( Italian: Luciano Emmer , January 19, 1918, Milan - September 16, 2009, Rome ) is an Italian filmmaker, winner of the 1951 Golden Globe Award for the film Pictura: An Adventure in Art " . He mainly shot documentaries, the most significant "Domenica d'agosto" and the romantic tragicomedy Three Girls from Rome .
