Content
Story
The plot revolves around a blind boy named Mohammed, who is leaving a special school in Tehran for the summer holidays. His father, who is ashamed of Mohammed’s blindness, is late to pick him up and then tries to convince the school principal to leave Mohammed for the summer. The director refuses, and Mohammed's father eventually takes him home to the village.
Mohammed's father is a widower and wants to marry a local girl. He visits the girl’s parents with gifts, and they give him a blessing. He is trying to hide that he has a blind son, because he is afraid that the girl’s family will take this as a bad omen. ...
