Biography
Born on October 11, 1932 in the city of Rybinsk, Ivanovo Industrial (now Yaroslavl ) Region, in a working class family. My father worked at a local shipyard as a moulder; his father's brothers were also workers. In 1934, the family moved to Leningrad , but during the war, Eugene again found himself in his hometown. With other boys he ferried people on boats across the Volga.
In 1947, a 15-year-old teenager, the uncle with whom Eugene was brought up, brought him to the Elektroinstrument plant, where Eugene got a job as an apprentice electrician, but later transferred to a machine shop as a turner . He served in the Soviet Army. Since 1958, he worked as a turner at the Leningrad Plant of Construction Machines of the Department of Heavy Engineering of the Leningrad Economic Council [1] , which made reapers for agricultural needs. Arriving at the factory, he immediately offered to work "for one job." They worked, regardless of the time, sometimes in two shifts. 17 standard hours per day - such was the performance of the turner Moryakov. Actively participated in socialist competitions.
The construction machinery factory has become known for its University for Teens. For more than 10 years, up to 150 schoolchildren were constantly studying at the factory student site. Often met with schoolchildren and gladly told them about his factory, profession, choice of life path [2] .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of January 3, 1974, for outstanding success in fulfilling and overfulfilling the 1973 plans and socialist obligations assumed, Yevgeny Nikolaevich Moryakov was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle " [3] .
Subsequently, he changed the work of a turner to the post of controller of the technical control department .
Since 1961 he was a member of the CPSU . 14 times elected secretary of the factory party bureau. Leading the party organization, he fought for improving the organization of labor, raising the culture of production, improving the forms and methods of competition and managing the factory economy. The delegate of the XXIV Congress of the CPSU (1971).
He was elected six times as a deputy of the Leningrad City Council of People's Deputies , where he worked in the standing commission of socialist legality and public order. He did a lot to improve the condition of the housing stock, the work of the service sector. He was elected several times as a deputy of the Moscow District Council of People's Deputies.
In 1973, he was a delegate to the World Congress of Peace Forces in Moscow . He was elected deputy chairman of the Leningrad Peace Committee.
Active rabcor (working correspondent), member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR . He was elected to the Central Board of the All-Union Society of Book Lovers [4] . Author of several books on working professions [5] .
He died in 1998 .
