The Great White Goose ( Latin Anser caerulescens atlanticus ) is a subspecies of the white goose ( Anser caerulescens ). From other subspecies of the white goose - the small white goose ( A. c. Caerulescens ) - these birds differ primarily in the large size and length of the neck, as well as in other ranges: they are common in the northern and eastern parts of North America [2] .

Unlike the small white goose, an almost exclusively white morph is found : the plumage is entirely white, except for the black tips of the wings (representatives of the extremely rare “blue” morphs are mostly dark in color with a white head, neck and some tail feathers) [2] .
