Biography
Moinuddin Hyder was born on June 5, 1942 in the city of Hyderabad , British India . In 1962 he joined the ranks of the Pakistani armed forces, took part in the Second Indo-Pakistani War and the Third Indo-Pakistani War as part of motorized rifle units, rose to the rank of lieutenant general. From March 17, 1997 to June 17, 1999 he served as governor of the province of Sind . Then he took the post of Minister of the Interior (1999-2002). Married, has three children.
